Description: This unit examines how cultural differences influence fundamental psychological processes & social behavior. We explore both destructive & constructive aspects of human nature, investigating how different cultures manage aggression, promote cooperation, & establish social hierarchies. We then examine how culture shapes basic psychological processes including emotion, cognition, language, & mental health. Through this exploration, we gain insight into universal behavioral tendencies & their cultural variations.
