Module 07: Performance Management

Description: This module explores comprehensive approaches to managing employee performance, including goal setting, feedback systems, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans. Students will learn about different performance management philosophies, from traditional annual reviews to continuous feedback models, and examine how technology is changing performance management practices.

Why this Module is Important: Performance management is one of the most challenging yet important functions in organizations. This module teaches students how to create systems that help employees understand expectations, receive useful feedback, and continuously improve their performance. Effective performance management can transform organizational culture and significantly impact both individual satisfaction and organizational results.

  • MLO3: Design a comprehensive performance management plan to address absenteeism using systematic approaches and professional communication skills. (ULO2, CLO3, CLO4, APA4, APA5)
