Africa

Africa’s modern political boundaries largely reflect colonial partitioning rather than traditional ethnic or geographic divisions. Ancient civilizations flourished along the Nile and other major rivers, while the Sahara Desert historically served as a natural barrier between North and Sub-Saharan Africa. Today, Africa’s geography continues to influence resource distribution, development challenges, and regional cooperation while playing an increasingly important role in global economics and politics.
